EXPERIENCED HANDS, READY TO HELP
In even the simplest framing jobs, there are numerous factors to consider. What colours or textures compliment the work? What glazing is the most suitable? Is matting necessary? Will it need to be stitched, pinned or stretched?
These are only a few such questions, but for those new to custom framing, they can be a lot of unexpected decisions. Our consultants are ready to guide you through every step of the process; ensuring you can feel confident in the choices we make at the table.

FAQs
-
There are two central reasons to opt for custom framing. The most important would be to ensure the proper care and preservation of a piece of artwork. Non-archival framing can often leave lasting damage to a work; including cockling, fading, or discolouration. We work exclusively with archival quality materials and mounting techniques to ensure your art is properly conserved for years to come.
Custom framing is also better for the aesthetic presentation of your work. Readymade frames have an accessible and functional use, but their need for aesthetic universality means they can only suit so many styles of art. Custom framing is far more deliberate; finding that perfect visual compliment to a work, and highlighting the elements that we love about them

Every job will have its technical and aesthetic requirements, which means the price can range significantly from piece to piece. While we can sometimes provide quotes over email for accessibility, it is always best to come see us in person if you can.
We cannot provide quotes over the phone.
All our consultations are free and no-obligation. If you have budgetary limitations or concerns, please let your consultant know. We will happily guide you through any and all options available to you.
-
You will typically hear from us within two to four weeks of your initial consultation. However, this will vary depending on a number of factors; namely any additional labor needed with your piece, the speed at which we can receive your materials, and the status of our queue at that time. We have a dedicated but small staff, and everything is done in house. As such, timelines are always approximate.
We are able to accommodate rushes, but it will be dependent on what options we have available. If you are short on time for any reason, we will always try our best to find a feasible solution. Be sure to let us know upfront, so we can discuss your possible options.
-
We no longer require appointments for consultations, we are all too happy to welcome walk-in’s.
However, our staff and space is not unlimited. If you are driving in from out of town, or are on a limited schedule, it’s always good to call ahead so we can save you a table and avoid long waits.
-
With some exceptionally rare exceptions, yes. If it exists, we will find a way to frame it.
We appreciate the challenge of a complicated project, and have framed items of all natures and sizes.
-
While the majority of our business is in custom framing, we do keep some small photo frames in stock for last minute projects. These typically range from 4x6 to 10x12, with styles changing regularly.
For any other concerns or questions we have yet to address above, our staff are available to you via email and in person/via phone during our standard operating hours
